Robert J. Lindner
President

Bob has worked successfully in the financial services industry for over 30 years. Encompassing an in-depth knowledge of assets and risk management, portfolio advisement and practice management, he built his personal practice as a financial planner targeting a specific niche of high net worth clients. In 1988, realizing the needs of his wealthy clients, Bob transitioned his personal business to a fee based wealth management practice.

In 1996, Lindner Capital Advisors was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an investment advisor to serve a select group of independent and insurance company affiliated broker/dealers.

Recognizing the need to help develop the next generation of highly skilled and well-trained advisors to serve the affluent and ultra affluent, Bob is the driving force behind the development of Lindner College and the Lindner Elite Advisor Forum (LEAF).

Bob has designed and conducted seminars concerning personal and business planning, risk management and asset allocation theory at the graduate level. He was formerly associated with Oglethorpe University as an Adjunct Instructor. Bob earned his undergraduate degree from Mercer University and holds a graduate degree in Financial Services from American College. He earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Lindner holds designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter™, Chartered Financial Consultant™, and Accredited Asset Management Specialist™. He is a licensed Certified Financial Planner™ admitted to the Registry of Financial Planning Practitioners™ in 1994.
 
Bob serves on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Humane Society and as a board member the Georgia March of Dimes serving as chair of the Georgia Society. He is the founder and director of the Lindner Foundation and founder and co-director of the Lucy Foundation. Bob, his wife Ann and daughter Ashleigh reside in Marietta, Georgia.
